Landscape painting flourished in the Netherlands in the 17th century. With this the Dutch painters achieved a strong realism and atmospheric images. This choice of subject matter and style inspired artists well into the 20th century. Cees Vegh is fascinated by the Dutch light and knows how to portray the landscape and clouds in a modern way.
