Eric Goede is a storyteller and especially sees the surprising side of life. With a dose of humor he dissects human movement, freezes an action and reduces it to the absolute minimum. He converts these into graceful lines in bronze. In doing so, the sculptor not only abstracts, he also accentuates parts of the human being with which the movement is made. It gives his images a certain lightness, a humor that continues to amaze. It is clear from his works that the artist enjoys life.
